West Mids Group Meeting

On 3rd February the Pro-Europe groups from all over the West Midlands Region met in Stratford-upon-Avon. For too long each group had been working in isolation without co-ordinated Social Media, Events, Publicity or mutual support. The goal of this meeting was to address these issues. The turn out was excellent with representatives from: Banbury for Europe, Britain for Europe – Headquarters, Cheltenham for Europe, EU in Brum, EU in Walsall, European Movement – Birmingham, European Movement – Headquarters, European Movement – Oxford, European Movement - West Mercia, Glostays, Stratford-on-Avon for Europe (Stratford4Europe), Veterans for Europe, Warwick District for Europe, Worcestershire for Europe and Young European Movement. Initial updates were provided from The European Movement, Britain for Europe and the Young European Movement. These provided a useful indication

to the interaction between the organisations, other groups not in attendance and the overall political situation. Very positive all round with the movement growing in numbers and locations and a better understanding between the main groups at a co-ordinated level. There was real feeling of progress and a shared passion that we must keep up the pressure to #StopBrexit.
