Worcestershire For Europe – Summary of activities - July – August 2018

As expected July and August were a little quieter than preceding months but this did not stop us getting out onto the streets to counter the nonsense pushed out by the politicians and the media...

July 12 - AC Grayling

Organised by the European Movement team and very well attended, Professor Grayling gave an enlightening talk on the causes and solutions to Brexit and the internal working of the political and House of Commons systems. Keep your eye on the 'Events' and this section of our Website for upcoming talks and events.

July 21 - Great Malvern Action Day

A surprisingly busy day at the top of Church Street with lots of good conversation, postcards written and so many sheets of the People's Vote petition signed we had to go back to the printers twice! Truely, the 'Will of the People'. Many thanks to our friends in Herefordshire for Europe for their support.

14 August - The Wooferendum

Even our fury friends have had enough of the joke...

Spotted on the Town Bridge.

25 August - Droitwich Action Day

Our first visit to Droitwich was a great success. The good people of that town made their feelings known about Brexit by using our new Brexitometer. Take a look at the results...

1 September - Bromsgrove Action Day

Out again on the streets of Bromsgrove with our friends from the local Libdems. This action day is now a monthly event in the town and is always a lively affair.
