March for the Many - Liverpool 23rd September 2018

5000+ Anti-Brexit supporters gathered outside St. Georges Hall in Liverpool to apply pressure to the Labour Party to come out in favour of a People's Vote (with an option to Remain) on the Final Deal.

As with all Pro-EU events members of Worcestershire for Europe attended, marched, sang and generally had a good time. I can't recommend these type of events enough as the atmosphere is always friendly, as are the people, and it's a great way to let off steam

Here's a few shots of the march and the speeches, which were held at the Pier Head on the banks of the Mersey.

A rather distant shot of David Lammy MP rousing the crowd with cries of 'Can you hear us Jeremy Corbyn?'

The march as it progressed along Lord Street

5000+ crammed onto the Pier Head for the speeches from Tim Roache (GS of the GMB Union), Manuel Cortes (GS of the TSSA Union), The Deputy Mayor of Liverpool, David Lammy MP, Lord Adonis and many more...

An excellent location for a rally...
