A huge, sincere thank you to everyone who helped make this morning's 'Brexit Clinic' /Bromsgrove for EU (and Worcestershire for EU) action morning the brilliant success it was. Special thanks to David Nichol, David's consultant neurologist friends, the wonderful Nicole for being our favourite French friend and who has raised over a million pounds for Bloodwise, and Femi for their presence. A massive thank you to those who were part of the team but couldn't be there in person this time. You were missed. Every one a star.
We chatted with voters for Leave and for Remain, had twenty new signatures on the People's Vote petition, a few postcards written to Sajid Javid and had a very, very telling Brexitometer (see below). Everyone was invited to respond and share their views, because that's democracy! The shouty ones were the same individuals who cannot compose a sensible argument, and even the quieter ones weren't able to express reasons to suggest leaving the EU would have any benefit whatsoever.
Thank you all, again. What a team! 🙌🇪🇺🇬🇧📢💛💙 Looking forward to the next action morning on August 10th when our focus might be on the environment and how the EU benefit us in so many ways in tackling the climate emergency.
